The Pressey Wedding

What I’m Wearing: Dress / Studded Heels / Sunglasses / Purse

This past weekend Bret and I witnessed two of my good friends from high school tie the knot!

I met Marissa when we were sophomores in high school doing theatre. She and Zack started dating our junior year and over the next two years of high school, we spent many classes talking about her and Zack rather than actually paying attention (oops, haha). I always knew they were destined to be together! These two are two of the most amazing people I know. They are both kind, caring, and all-around good people. I’m so happy we got to be part of their special day (and that I got to see some friends from high school too!).

Their wedding was at Ponte Winery in Temecula, CA. It is a gorgeous facility! The wedding was beautiful, down to the flower arrangements and handwritten calligraphy everywhere! The ceremony was over by the hotel so most of the hotel rooms overlooked the ceremony, which was cute because Zack and Marissa were announced husband and wife, we weren’t the only ones cheering and watching. From there we walked over to the Barrel Room, which is where they aged all the wine! We loved being in this room because the ceremony was hot and windy but the Barrel Room was nice and cool.

Marissa has been dancing her whole life so of course their first dance and the father/daughter dance were choreographed! Both fathers, the maid of honor, and the best man made toasts. I was not expecting to cry during Zack’s dads speech! It was so touching! They had Nothing Bundt Cakes cater the desserts so we all got little mini bundt cakes to top off the night. Overall, it was a gorgeous wedding and everything was perfect!
