Amelia’s First Pumpkin Patch

We recently came to realization that Amelia loves pumpkins! She likes to bang on them like they’re drums and has the biggest smile on her face. Naturally, I decided we had to go to a pumpkin patch. Since we didn’t have a lot of time to go to some of the really cool ones in Temecula or Los Angeles, we decided to go to Tanaka Farms in Irvine. First of all, the decor was adorable. Tanaka partnered with Sanrio so there were Hello Kitty and Friends characters everywhere. The farm had pumpkins already picked, pumpkins you could pick yourself (still with the vines), a sunflower field, corn maze, petting zoo, wagon ride, pumpkin cannon, and a games and food area. There were lots of designated spots for pictures where they have pumpkin towers or scarecrows, and wheelbarrows for those picking up several pumpkins. Below are some of my favorite pictures from the patch, including some bloopers (I just couldn’t resist).
